People change and it's inevitable.
People change for various reasons. Mainly because of the change in their surroundings, people they met, as they mature, the experience they have and many other possible reasons. I myself have my own fair share of true best friends but as I (we) grow up, they left me one by one gradually. Friends, everyone have them. We meet new people everywhere, in school, at work, during your overseas trip, while walking your dog at the park, or that food stall auntie whom you buy your lunch everyday. As time passes, these people can be your friends and it's heartwarming to see people that you're familiar with right ? There are of course, various types of friends. The hi-bye friends, work friends, school friends, coffee friends and many more. What really warms my heart is those that treat you like their family no matter what and you know they will always be there when you need them. They are the first one that you turn to when you face any problems in your life or have a piece of good news to share. There's absolutely nothing you can't talk to with this type of true best friends. Someone you can depend on for comfort when you feel down, someone you can seek for honest opinions or advice for anything in the world that you may have encounter. They won't sugarcoat their words just to be in your good books, only honesty and straight forward replies. They know what you like and dislike, your preferences for clothes and accessories, your temper etc. In short, they can read you like a book and there's no way that you can lie to them. After saying so much about the good points of such true best friends, sadly to say that they change too. They are human beings after all.  The last true best friend I lost, was exactly a year ago. A friend that became my sister that I call my own. Nothing can stop our sister-love and i was looking forward to the end of 2014 where we can celebrate our 1st decade as friends. Never did I know that our relationship will end so abruptly. What's worse, I don't even know what happened that resulted the change. At least let me know the reason of change to the relationship I treasured the most. You've come to my mind many times during this year, talked about the lost feelings to a couple of my friends. Many comforted me and say I should let go and moved on. I did move on but I really miss the times we shared.  We always say that we will never leave each other, no matter what happens, we will always be there for each other. I will still be here if you need me, I promise. I used to know you so well, and I hope I still do. 
Changes aside, I just want to say that I'm really glad I met you in my life.
Hope you're happy and may our path crosses again.
To all my friends, may our friendship lasts till white hair grows and skin wrinkles.
